Coordinator for Social Intervention Group
Do you thrive in coordinating and leading? We are looking for a coordinator for the social intervention group at the child and family investigation unit, unit 2.
Social intervention groups (SIG) are a working method for collaboration between social services, police, other authorities, civil society, and families to tailor individual support for the target group of young people and young adults at risk of developing or who have developed a criminal lifestyle. The purpose of SIG is to coordinate the efforts of these actors to collectively prevent the individual from falling into or relapsing into crime.
The child and family investigation unit handles cases concerning children and young people (0-20 years). We belong to the Social Administration, which is responsible for creating social security for children, adolescents, and adults with the goal of achieving social sustainability. We meet people who, for various reasons, find themselves in difficult situations and need advice, support, or interventions from social services. The Social Administration applies approaches and working methods based on Signs of Safety as a foundation in investigation and change work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main task is to collaborate and coordinate efforts with internal and external actors. You contribute to creating a shared understanding and good collaborations. By working systemically, the support you provide also includes family, relatives, and important people in the youth's life. Using assessment tools such as SAVRY, you map needs and living situations, which is helpful for investigating social workers. You support, guide, and lead those who work directly with the youth and family.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a degree in social work or equivalent academic education and several years of experience with the target group of children and young people with norm-breaking behaviors, for example from public authority work, treatment work, or social work. Preferably in a supervisory role. It is positive if you have experience according to SoL, LVU, and knowledge of RBM (the principles of risk, need, and receptivity). Additionally, if you have training in Signs of Safety, structured assessment methods such as SAVRY or ESTER, and experience with interventions like FFT or CBT-oriented programs, that is also beneficial. A B driver's license is a requirement.
The role requires you to distinguish between the personal and professional, which you do through good self-awareness; you are secure and stable in yourself. Through your structure and good collaborative skills, you navigate different perspectives constructively. You take responsibility for your tasks and can work independently. Of course, you enjoy collaborating with others; you are flexible and responsive to emerging needs. This also contributes to you creating and maintaining the many contacts that the role entails. You are used to quickly adapting when circumstances change. Does this sound interesting? Welcome with your application!
